As the unrefined desert-bred cousin to its Pacific Northwest kin cities, Boise has always maintained a strong DIY ethos. Maybe it’s the collection of kindred spirits that prefer the geographic isolation of the Mountain West. Maybe it’s just a collection of talented sportos, motorheads, geeks, sluts, waistoids, dweebies, and weirdos with the purest intentions—art for art’s sake. Either way, around these parts we’ve operated fairly independently without much fanfare.

If you ask anyone that’s been around for a spell, for every artist that has gained a modicum of fame from this up-and-coming hotbed, far too many have languished in relative obscurity. If the universe intended this to be a slight, we have been too busy to notice. We abide. But more importantly, we persist.

Too often an amazing collection of people make music for a brief period of time to never have their story told. Like most places, the stories of its artists are varied. Sometimes the stories are sad. Sometimes it’s a tale of what could have been. Many stories are still being written and some are yet to be told. Regardless, we want to help tell these vital stories.

If you’re a person that’s eager to connect to under-appreciated great things, this whole deal might be for you. Whether it’s from the ghost of our hometown’s past, or something from the soon-to-be post apocalyptic hellscape that is our future, it will be worthy of your attention. Our goal is to lift up these undiscovered artists and help tell their stories. As is common knowledge, music is an incredibly lucrative business, so we’ll make sure to think of you all from our yachts, but until then, we will continue to do this thing we love and play whatever role we can to lift up the artists and musicians whose stories need telling.
